Toowong Rowing Club Wedding Photography – Sian & Jaime

It was the 24th September 2016 when Sian and Jaime were married at Toowong Rowing Club,  St Lucia.  Toowong Rowing Club is a beautiful venue for your wedding ceremony and reception and offers many different wedding photography options.  But first lets go to the boys who were getting ready in Meriton Suites, Brisbane.

The girls were a few floors higher than the boys, so after a quick ride in the lift we saw the girls and Sian was just getting the final touches done to her make-up.

How awesome is the view!

I love these two photos.  Both Jamie and Sian looking at the beautiful view over South Bank before they are married.

Once we had finished with the girls it was off to the ceremony and a quick few photos of reception before popping down to the garden for the ceremony.

Toowong Rowing Club wedding ceremony lawn is amazing, shaded by a beautiful Jacaranda tree, overlooking the Brisbane River.

Jamie had a little fun with Sian during the photos.  Having a second shooter allows different types of photos of the same moment.  The photo on the below right is a photo of Sian and Jamie that I took and the photo underneath was taken by my second shooter.

The rowing shed at Toowong Rowing Club is always a favourite spot for photos, a whole bridal party shot then one of just the bride and groom.

Time to PARTY!

I love capturing the emotions and reactions during the speeches.

Sian and Jamie were married on the night of Riverfire.  For those who don’t know what Riverfire is, it is a spectacular firework show on the banks of the Brisbane River. Although we were further down the river from where the fireworks were, we were still lucky to be able to capture some of the higher ones.

An opportunity for some sparkler photos are not to be missed.  Even caught the end of a city cat on the right hand side.

If there is a guest book at a wedding I always try and write a little note to the bride and groom.  Nicole and I had such a great time at Sian and Jamie’s wedding!
